Scooter is a cat that needs a wheelchair to get around, and Falco is a puppy that has only three legs, but together they have managed to create a beautiful friendship. Unfortunately, the three-year-old Siamese cat injured his spine in an accident, leaving him unable to use his hind legs. On the other hand, Falco only has three legs, because since he was found in the middle of the streets, the puppy no longer had his limb.
Without a doubt, both animals have gone through many difficulties in their lives, but fortunately, they found a loving home next to Rose Mary Millán and Roy.
Now the amazing pair of friends enjoy hiking, wrestling, napping together, and creating hundreds of pranks every day.
A cat in a wheelchair and a disabled dog are friends
Rose Mary, who lives in Bolivia with them, is delighted with the beautiful relationship of her two pets, which is why she usually shares images of them on social networks.
An adorable couple of friends has managed to steal the hearts of everyone on the internet, who do not hesitate to leave their reactions.
They get along well and like to go out together. They love to experience the outdoors and are very adventurous.”
She adds that at home both animals like to fight a lot, so much so that they could do it all day, without resting a bit. They also play in other ways, but she clarifies that everything happens as long as Falco is in a good mood and wants to spend time with her adoptive brother.
Rose Mary and her partner decided to adopt Falco after a friend found him wandering the streets alone. The puppy needed help, as the wound on his amputated limb did not look good and was in danger of infection.
“The vet said the suture on his wound was very poor. From the looks of the wound, he was definitely unprofessional, but we’ll never know for sure what happened.”
The stitches were very horrible, however, the good intervention of the vet was able to help Falco and in a few days he recovered.
At the time, Rose Mary, and Roy’s initial idea was to give Falco a foster home, while they found him a forever home. But, unsurprisingly, they had a hard time finding someone willing to adopt a three-legged dog.
“Young and healthy animals are always adopted, but not the older ones and less so the disabled ones.”
For this reason, they decided to welcome him into their home and made him an official member of their family, alongside his adoptive brothers Scooter and Louis. From the beginning, he established a special connection with Scooter.
When the couple took in each of their disabled pets, none had help to get around, but over time they received the necessary tool.
“Falco just received his new leg recently.”
When he doesn’t have his paw, he performs any activity of a normal dog and just jumps like he would with three legs. But it is very important to get him used to his new prosthesis, as this will really help him move better and have a much easier life.
“I’m not looking for animals, they find me. I can never leave them behind, especially if they are disabled.”
The truth is that nothing is an impediment for this adorable couple of friends to enjoy their lives and live their days to the fullest.
